My new rescue Doyle (dachshund puppy) desperately wants to make friends with my cat Noir.He has been trying to get closer and closer to him. Last night I found Doyle laying on top of my very angry large cat. All that could be seen of the cat was his head. It was very funny even though I don't think it helped Doyle's pending friendship.
