Sasha

This is Sasha I'm told he loves to cuddle.

This is Megan Von Schmidt who is the raffle winner of Sandy Paws pet Holiday party which was on last Saturday December 18. Congratulations. She won a 11 by 14 inch painting of her pet.

Barney

This is Barney. He lives in Pennsylvania and he likes to play in the snow. His cat brother is Baby Boy who I had the pleasure of painting a few months ago.

Ben

This is a painting of Ben. I was glad to be asked to paint him. He reminds me of my own dog who is a Jack Russell. Ben is also very handsome.

Sue Display her work at the Reunion

The Bryant's went home Durango, their third dog adoption from the Dog Liberator, and their print of their first two, Charlie and Lola.

In the meantime, Rescuer, Gisele Veilleux's son Ryan, insisted on bringing home a print of Trixie Belle, a family long-time favorite dog, and Trixie's owner purchased the original print of their gorgeous female Border Collie.

Sarah, as expected, went home with her framed piece of China, the deaf/blind Aussie.

We enjoyed having Sue join us at the reunion, and look forward to working with her!

Sue Unveils Her Artwork for Rescue

On October 16, 2010, Sue McNulty will be providing The Dog Liberator a glimpse into her fabulous artwork, and donating her time for the rescue.

Sue writes: I have been an professional artist for the last 25 years. 23 of those years as a Disney artist.

I have my resume and some paintings on facebook at Sue's pet art. I am currently working on 2 new pet paintings.

For the Dog Liberator rescue group reunion which will be held on October 16th I will be bringing some new pet painting from dogs with in the rescue group. These painting will be for samples unless these people choice otherwise.

I also want to do a serious called Postcard Pets. It would be small postcard sized paintings that you could either frame or put in the mail. These would be inexpensive paintings and I would have a special price for the party. They would be faster smaller paintings which I would paint of your dogs at the party. Does this interest people?

Sue Adopts from The Dog Liberator!

My new rescue Doyle (dachshund puppy) desperately wants to make friends with my cat Noir.

He has been trying to get closer and closer to him. Last night I found Doyle laying on top of my very angry large cat. All that could be seen of the cat was his head. It was very funny even though I don't think it helped Doyle's pending friendship.
